By a Leupold FX-3 25 x 40 Adj. Objective. Be done with it. Order one with a 3/8 or 1/2 MOA dot. I had the same problem as you. The advice was given to me, and it was good advise. The fixed powers are around 100.00 cheaper than the variables. If your not good at that magnification (25X) and want to work up to it. Leupold 6.5 x 20 X 40 VX 3 EFR is the way to go. Leupolds are a little higher than some. But after you weigh it all out, good investment for your money. That's my 2 1/2 cents worth.

Sightrons 6-24 X 42 SIL model would be a good choice. Fine cross hairs with target dot. Chicken George would be able to give you a quote on most any scope. He will be able to recommend at the same time. PM me and can give you his e-mail address.
