itty bitty Leupold turret wrench?

Post by OnaginOffagin »

I have Leupolds on my two rifles....and one very little allen wrench to zero the turret knobs. I live in fear of losing the durned thing..... What's the size? Can you buy a spare somewhere?

There are several people making thoes wrenches that attack to your shooting vest. Usualy the zipper. I think Mary was selling some at PeEll last weekend. But... to answer your question, I don't know what the size is. You should be able to take yours to a place that sells good tools and buy a whole handfull.

Correction, .050 is the size. Better hardware stores normally stock these. Those ones that dangle from a vest zipper are OK, I like my home made ones better. :D Made from hobby knife handles.

I just carry the little wrenches that came with my scopes. In little plastic baggies. In my tool kit. How could it possibly be any easier! ;)

Monkey see, Monkey do......

Went to a bicycle shop and bought a folding kit of really small wrenches, including a .050, and threw that in my match day kit....... I then took my original (that I was afraid to lose) and snipped off the "L", and put it in a hobby knife handle..... Voila! A "Bob McAlice" wrench for my shooting vest! Thank you, sir!
