Can an Air Arms tx200 be shot in all 3 classes

Post by joemo »

I know the tx200 is not a ten meter gun, but can it be shot in the target class?
Thanks
Joe

It's up to the match director to let you participate but no, the score will not count.
Emmett Dibble, Houston, Texas. Where's my buddy Jason? Keeper of electronic records and banisher of little pieces of paper?

Here is the rule:

Target Air Rifle: Any unaltered factory target air rifle designed for
U.S. and International 10 meter competition. (i.e., as produced or
sold by Anschutz, Beeman, Crosman, Daisy, Feinwerkbau, RWS,
Steyr and Walther). Use of scopes or iron sights, including diopter
sights is allowed. Any older gun may be brought up to current factory
specifications using only factory catalogue barrel weights.

So short answer is NO.

I would not waste my time shooting it for fun in target, shoot in sporter and the score count and can be added to the book.
