I would stay somewhere around Siegen Lane. Thats an easy spot to get to the range from.

This is a Hampton that's pretty close: http://hamptoninn3.hilton.com/en/hotels ... index.html

Pat, there is nothing in the cook book that says you have to be the one that actually ran over the potential meal. It does take a refined eye to know when it has past it's prime after that even Jerry won't take it.

Looking forward to the match. Hope you are drumming up some others from Texas to come.

I'm thinkin if the buzzards are eatin it, it's a touch off. We'll be scanning the roadsides for stew meat!!!

I know a few are headed your way. Motl, Cawthorn, Freeman, and a few others. ( Maybe 10 if you count my tribe) Hopefully the Beaumont crowd will be represented. Get some biker chicks to reset the targets and Wimpy will be there for sure.

I will do the best I can to get some girls in bikinis at the match. 10 years ago I could have guaranteed it; now I can only hope for the unlikely participation of a group of girls I know that all have cocaine problems - hopefully thats enough for Wimpy...

The match is not listed because Greg Connor never wanted the match to happen and is not happy that its going down. Plus because it too so long for the NRA to agree to it we had to do a lot of the planning and date setting too late to get it listed.

Pat, thanks for the nice words. It's not urgent that you bring a special rifle since she's not due until July but I'll be more than happy to hold on to one for her until she gets here!

Dustin, Thanks, Good Luck with the match. We had the same problem with the Silhouette Military match but we lost and they sent us packing.

Well it's more then just that Pete, give Dustin all the sorted details.
  • 1- Approved, listed and posted as a Sectional/National match for Muilitary Rifles
2- Collected the money for the sanctioned match
3- Decided not enough people attended to set / establish any records, even thought they knew up front they scantioned it and posted it in the Shooters USA magazine as such
4- Greg then said they were 'to busy' to record the results, even thought Randy had it all done
5- KEPT their money for 'sanctioning' the match even though they reniged
6- Tried to defend their position at the competitiors meeting at the Nationals at Ridgway
7- Again proved they are not promoting the sport by supporting or following through on commitments
Dustin, Hopefuly with Dennis's envolvement you will not run into the same BS as Randy did.
