Aperture Sights at the 2016 Louisiana CLA Championship

I've received several questions regarding whether aperture front sight inserts will be allowed in December at the 2016 Louisiana Cowboy Lever Action Championship pursuant to the recent Silhouette Committee vote to legalize them. Because the rule change has not yet been approved by the NRA Rules Committee, aperture inserts will not be allowed at this match - the traditional post or bead must be used.
