For those who don't know - The Ben Avery Shooting Range is one of the finest facilities in the nation. Arizona weather in February is "long sleeve" on a cool day, shorts and t-shirts other days.

I found the range, jut north of Phoenix, and the people very agreeable.

I second that!

For my 2 cents worth. The AZ state Match is one of the finest Cowboy matches held all year.

Congratulations to John Mullins who won the aggregate with a total of 220 out of 240. Weather and conditions were terrific for Friday and Saturday, and a bit more challenging on Sunday with some wind and occasional sprinkles. Big thank you to Jeanie and Bob for their efforts to put on an absolutely outstanding match. Dan

This was my 3rd year attending this match. It's special for me just to excape the cold of Pa.
This is one of the best matches you could attend. Everyone here really makes you feel welcome. Jeannie and Bob along with all their team of workers really go all out for this match.
The awards were like I've never seen before. Really special. I consider myself lucky to have won one.
The level of competition is extremely high also. You have to be on your game to win.
Congratulations to John Mullins on his fine shooting.

Thank you to all who made this match possible.
I had a great time and was lucky enough to place for one of the great awards. It will be one of my most treasured trophys.I had to keep reminding myself that it was February while shooting in shorts.
I am very sure that I'll be back.

Jeanie - thanks to you and Bob for putting together a great match and a big thanks for loaning me the adjustable aperature. I'm spoiled, since this was my first match.

PS Do you think we could have cookies and sandwiches at the monthly matches.

Congratulations to Phoenix for a great turnout!
78 shooters (would have been 80 if Tony and I had made it)!
I think this is second in match size to only the Nationals.
Looking forward to next year, hope to post pictures and scores then, sorry I missed out.
