Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited sight question

Post by Bill the Lurker »

Hello all,
I am looking to put Williams rear sight on a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited.
I didn't know that this rifle doesn't have the holes drilled into side of receiver to accept the FP-94-36 TK sights that I ordered for it.
I believe I am looking for: FP-336-TK Receiver Sight w/Target Knob fits Marlin 336 that mounts to the top of the receiver in the scope base holes.

Also, which Lyman front globe would you recommend? height wise?
This rifle has dovetails cut directly in the barrel, not in a ramp.

Thanks much,
Bill

You want the FP-336-TK for the rear and the Lyman 17A .494 height for the front sight.
