Round front arpatures
Wondering how people are doing with these?
Today I was practicing and struggled with the post. Put in the largest one I have, was able to see, worked pretty good. Nor sure I will use, but the 200 yard line is tough in big bore, will definitely give a shot there.
I was worried about a funky sight pic, but seemed to center up the body easily.
thanks

Re: Round front arpatures
I tried one this weekend at Raton. The smallest size worked well for me in small bore. I'm 61 and far sighted. I won't need glasses with magnification...only safety glasses. I have shot a post and bead for over 50 years and the round front is taking some getting use to. I shot the entire course with a round insert and then with a post a post. My scores were about the same, but shooting the insert seemed far less work. I use the clear insert set that fits a Lyman 17a. The set is VERY well made from DZ arms.
