your 39A just got more valuable

Here is the "new" Marlin web site price for a custom 39A - https://www.marlinfirearms.com/custom-s ... -39a-fancy

I think the word "fancy" should be bold/italic for that price

Those will sell like hot cakes.
The $3000 must be how much they had to put into some of the Remlins they were making.

I checked with the stocking dealer in my state. They only have one on hand. I was going to drive across the state if I could get two, one for each hand. I mean, who needs to pay the mortgage EVERY month? :D

One of the unfortunate things that are not just a problem with Marlin is a lot of the custom fitting, action and trigger work should be the norm. How many machines do we buy that have to be repaired/adjusted/tuned to operate properly brand new out of the box? I'm not talking about customizing a four wheel drive truck or the Cowboy action race gun work.

For that price I'd expect an accuracy guarantee, I don't see one in their specs. I'd be interested to know what they expect.

Since that was a 2017 special, I'd be more interested in how many they actually sold to customers.
