What a great looking range.

Thanks Hermit5, this was a snap shot at a local match, didn't even have the whole range set or even the bank numbers out. It goes from 25 to 200 meters.

We have held many many of the old NRA Pistol Silhouette Nationals at our range, before they went away.

Also we have shot lever action here, since the start of the sport.

10 banks of 5 animals at all four distances at the same time, or as you can see, several different ones setup at the same time.

Unfortunately we experienced a bad wildfire here last December and we lost our Club house, Stat office, bathrooms/showers and cooking area. Fortunately, we saved the firing line and some support stuff. We are trying to rebuild and also rekindle a new tradition here at LASC.

Hopefully people will attend.

For motels in the area, I would suggest travel websites and apps like Hotels.com.
Sylmar and San Fernando produced a few good places or use the range address as a search target.
Look at a map to make sure you are close to the range, since we are so close to Los Angeles, sometimes you get strange and extravagant results, just filter them by distance.

We have power to the range and the "spider" boxes for the tents and RV's. Only 110volt, so not enough for AC units.
We have running water, but still only Portable toilets.

Fingers crossed, wishing we had more people, but here we go!

Shooting 80 rounds Smallbore first day, 80 Pistol Cart. second day, then 80 Long Range on Monday!

Mixing it up, I figure it is better to end on a BOOM and not a pop, little more interesting shoot off.

Wish us luck, our first try in many years.

I'm sure a few hiccups, but we will have fun and learn for next time.
