I am setting up a Winchester 94 with a 26" barrel. Using a Williams rear sight, what height do I need for a Lyman Globe front?

Thanks

I have a williams FPTK rear and a Lyman AUG on the front.... (at least I believe it's the AUG, just measured and it is right at .6" approx from the bottom of the dovetail to the centerish of the glove...)

YMMV...

You need to shoot first with the front sight that you want to change to see how much the needed difference is for the new front sight.

(sight radius X impact change required) / (target distance) = front sight height difference

Units in inches

Here's your choices. Hard to tell until you put one on the gun even if you use the formulas. CAUTION>>> You can only use a 17A not a 20A. The 20A is larger than allowed by the present rules.
17AHB - .404
17AEU - .464
17AUG - .594
17AML - .494
17ATC - .852

Chuck, check your email I sent some pics. I think the Canadian commemorative has the AUG front.
