They never did the same with their center fire rifles.
Hopefully they stopped sending them out the door with crooked barrels.

For what it's worth, I also submitted that suggestion to Henry Repeating Arms when I was in the market for a .357 Magnum with a 24" barrel. I guess now isn't a good time to try to convince Anthony Imperato that there's a metallic silhouette shooter's market for PC long barrels with having cancelled national & regional matches.

I would have purchased a .357 Magnum Henry with that configuration after having Grand Slam success with a Henry .22 LR Frontier Long Barrel. My PC squad mate also has great PC success with a Henry .22 Magnum Frontier Long Barrel. He got 39 out of 40, with no ringers, at the 2019 Eastern Regional. FYI, to avoid .22 Magnum ram ringers, he pulled the 45 grain Hornady Critical Defense bullets and reloaded with H110 powder just for the rams.

I guess by writing about what if's and digressing from this discussion isn't helping. At least you see here what can be done with a .22 Magnum.

I'll suggest it again. For $600 to $700 you can have a really nice Rossi with a 24 inch octagon barrel.

There is also the uberti .357s I don't see many on the range but that may be because of the price. Ive seen some with color case hardened frames with engraving sell for $1200. If price isn't an issue.
