32-20 vs 25-20, reline vs rebore....

I have a 25-20 that needs to be relined or rebored. It's gorgeous but I don't collect rifles so it needs to pull it's weight to
stay in the safe....

Any thoughts?

I relined my 92 25-20 and now it shoots. My gunsmith preserved the crown by using a deep bore reamer from the breech end. Great job.

The price is comparable and even though the gun is gorgeous and looks new the "collector" value is diminished because of the restoration.

I have no experience with 32-20 but see where people say it's easy to get to shoot where I and other have troubles and tribulations with
25-20 not being as easy to work with....

Plus was wondering liner vs reboring.

Taylor Machine isn't quite back up yet so I still have a couple months to ponder...

$500 +/- sans shipping.... close enough that it's a quandary....

I don't load 32-20 but have a bunch of brass to turn into 25-20.

I load 25-20 but it's a pitb.

Do you have a source for the barrel rebore?
I’m thinking of doing this, you can PM me if better.
