Of course someone will have to chamber a levergun for it!

Cool !!!! I'd go for this one. What a great Pistol cartridge round in a 24 inch octagon barrel.

skinner peep sights

Post by glen ring »

Does anyone have experience with the skinner peep sights. They look simple( I need simple) and rugged ( I need rugged also).

I've not familiar with those sights, but I seem to have seen the name mentioned on some other site, Marlinowners or Leverguns, I think. Hope that helps.

Interesting round no doubt. Problem, always is having a rifle chambered for it. A 24" barreled rifle in .32 H&R, 32-20, or 38-40, would also be great. Just no full sized long barreled rifles, chambered for them. And, I can't blame the gun companies. Who would buy them? A great PC cowboy gun, doesn't have much use for any thing else. Too small for deer, better choices for small game, and as for a plinker or if U did want to use it for small game, a carbine makes more sense. Even the folks who masquerade as cowpokes, use carbines in there PC rifles.
