32 mag is working for me
You will get good results with hornady's 100gr hp/xtp bullet on top of reliant 2400 powder win small rifle primers and starline brass. mine likes 9.5 gr shoots 1" @ 100M benched w/24x tasco scope weaver see through rings. williams fp target sights .050 apature mounted in rear holes and a lyman 17A .494 hieght and narrow post insert will put about 75 clicks up from bottom for a 6 o'clock hold on 40M chickens. I'm trying the .404 with the pin head insert tomorrow to see if I can get it to work for me. the pin head is .062 taller than the narrow post which puts bullet impact 9" high with the rear all the way down. I've heard others use a 118gr cast bullet on top of 9.6 W296 or (Lil' Gun don't know how much power) trigger job is accomplished with a wild west happy trigger and a wolf reduced power hammer spring from brownell's takes trigger pull from 7lbs. down to 2 lbs.
I was match winner at old fort gun club match on Sat. with a 31/40 almost finished my grand slam missed the ram I needed.

32 mag
hi steve,
thanks for the info, i did purchase the cb 32 mag, and it looks great. i used to shoot field pistol, and shot the 32 mag out of a 10" contender barrel, to 100 meters. it should be no problem coming out of a 20" barrel if i do my part. where in pa are you? i'am in delaware. you can contact me at tripledeuce222@comcast.net..........dan
