Tang sights - Pedersoli
I've searched numerous times over the years for something decent for my Cowboy lever guns. I either didn't like the features or the price of the Lymans, Williams, Marbles, etc...
While yakking it up at the match today, a guy mentioned that Pedersoli made some very nice adjustable sights for about $100. I thought he must be mistaken on the price but I'll be damned if they aren't about perfect for what I want and well under the $200-300 price tags I was finding...
Either way, what's the skinny? Are these common on the Cowboy Lever Action line? Pro's/Con's?
Here's the REAL QUESTION - has anyone every mounted one of these Pedersoli's on a Marlin 39A? Will it mount? Is the elevation within smallbore range or is it too high altogether?

They even have this cool flip front-sight I've been searching for. I found one on a Savage 99 years ago but they wanted as much for the sight as the ratty old gun... I think it was an original Marbles though...
