Marlin 1894m 22 magnum

Post by glen ring »

I'm wanting to trade my marlin 1894m 22 magnum for a 25-20 marlin . I can cast bullets and reload the 25-20 or my wife's 32-20 cheaper than buying 22 magnum rounds right now. I'll bring the 22 magnum to Raton for the cla nationals. If anyone is interested send me a message.

Glenn,

I am interested in the trade. I will also be at Raton for Nationals. I have an Marlin 1894 CL in 25-20 and shoot in monthly and national matches. I have loaded ammo, brass, bullets (jacketed Hornady 60 grain and Meister 86 grain lead), primers, powder, load data. Fiber front sight with Williams rear. I have the factory sights also. I am staying in RV space 49 in the upper camp ground and will be at Raton on Friday June 28th after noon.

If we can not work out a trade I am interested in purchasing the rifle outright.

We'll be there Sat afternoon and will be staying in competitor housing. I'll bring the gun and some ammo for you to shoot. It has a Lyman globe front sight and a Williams rear sight. We can shoot the guns and work out a trade. See you there.

I may have three or four bricks of federal 22 mag ammo stashed somewhere. Let me know if you want some of that ammo and I'll dig it out and bring it also.
See you guys Saturday.

I put a Lyman sight on the 25-20 I traded you for and shot it today. I think it groups better than my old 25-20! Thanks. I hope to see you next year. Have a great 40th!

Guys, don't forget to pay the SC for the trade...Even if this wasn't done on the Marketplace, it still a deal on SC.

Sorry for the late post but Cheyenne Frontier Days and the pending Wyoming State 22 BPCR Championship I run have taken all my time. Glad the rifle shoots as well as it did for me. Got sellers remorse and bought one to replace it. Haven't shot it yet. New sights on the old 22 mag but still haven't had time to shoot it either. Got no time since I retired!!!!! Great meeting you and your wife and will be looking for ya next year at Raton.

The trade was a fair one for me and i appreciate the 25-20. We both enjoyed meeting you and look forward to shooting with you next year. The 22 magnum was just too light for me. Have a good winter Dick.

Glenn,

We are shooting 22 BPCR monthly matches in Cheyenne. Hopefully starting up again in March. Shooting Mar, Apr, May and Jun. July off for nationals and August a two day just for the BPCR rifles. Monthly matches are open to any 22 LR rifle that can be shot single shot. Check out the Cheyenne rifle and pistol web site after the first of the year. Should be updated with all the 2014 matches then.

On another note, did you find any more 22mag ammo?

Thanks, stay in touch,

Dick

Hey Dick!! Good to hear from you. i would love to shoot at 200 yards with my 22. Our Range in OKC is starting 200 yard 22 matches and I'm excited. The 25-20 i traded you for is very accurate. I put scopes on all my PC guns and the gun i got from you out shot all of them. I'll have no excuses now.
