Inaugral Australian Nationals
G'Day All
Here is the ad for our first Nationals (Cowboy). Our rules only vary slightly from NRA and we would be pleased to see any International competitors. Following this shoot is a normal Silhouette shoot (Early Australia Day), then a Novelty day. All up with practice days included there is 8 days of shooting. I couldn't think of a better way for you all to escape the northern winter than visit Down Under.

Monday 14th to Thursday 17th January 2008
Registered:- Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette, Pistol Cartridge Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette and Smallbore Cowboy Rifle Silhouette Matches
PLACE: SSAA Majura Range; veer left off Federal Highway then turn right onto Majura Road, about 10kms north of Canberra CBD, then 400m and turn left into Hector Macintosh Grove
( Gun Clubs Sign ) and Take the second gate on the right.
PRIZES: Medals all grades, including juniors, 3 gun medals and perpetual 3 Gun National Champion Shield.
PROGRAM:
Mon 14th, 9.00am to 12.00am Smallbore Cowboy Rifle Silhouette practice, 1.00pm ish after target exchange Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette and Pistol Cartridge Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette practice.
Tue 15th, 7.30am to 8.30am. Practice, firearm & equipment scrutineering and shooters briefing. 9.00 am 80 shots Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette.
Wed 16th, 7.30am to 8.30am. Practice, firearm & equipment scrutineering and shooters briefing. 9.00 am 80 shots Pistol Cartridge Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette, followed by presentations for both Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette and Pistol Cartridge Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette. National Discipline meeting to start at 6.30pm.
Thurs 17th, 7.30am to 8.30am. Practice, firearm & equipment scrutineering and shooters briefing. 9.00 am 80 shots Smallbore Cowboy Rifle Silhouette. Final presentations in clubhouse after the completion of shooting.
