Dawg,
No amount of scotch, or vodka can make up for the breakfast of champions when at work, Dove dark chocolate promises, fine Earl Grey tea with..... hmm the Irish guys just left after three months here and they delivered gifts to those that kept them occupied on weekends when they weren't working, although I think it was the 44 mag that impressed them the most. BTW the Irish make a decent vodka. What's for lunch?

Jason,
We have large dogs down here in Florida that some people call deer, some pigs, badly overcrossed with Pot bellied, no prairie dogs (except in cages so far), but we do have rats, coons and possum. My rat hunt stories are almost as good as the Dawgs, but the Irish fellows all working for electric companies were designing an electric rat trap.... it was hilarious, until I introduced them to air pistols so they could shoot them in the house they were staying in. I will say that none of the guys got electrocuted by the contraption, but neither did the rats.
Great sport.

OOoo... rat shooting in the house. That could be fun. We used to do it in the barns when I was younger, but in the house makes it a lot more convenient. :)

Jason,
I have enough real dogs in the house to control the rat population there, it is in the avairy and the chicken coop that the Sunday morning plinking becomes fun.

HOLD THE PRESS

Chicken has been cooped, will this affect the the Limeaux vs. Chicken grudge match?

Will he ever be able to scratch properly again?

Will this lead to an ultimate plucking?

Dawg,
One never found that cooping during the night to hold the bobcats at bay to cause the self destructive form of plucking.
As for the scratching part...only then hens can do that properly, the roosters get so involved in calling in the chicks when they think they have scratched up something good... This is getting really baaaaad. I will refrain from further comment so that I may remain Innocent.

BTW don't forget the reason for Limey's name the English are real good at holding a grudge as long as they need to for the Chickens to escape from the coop. Cockadoodle-do.

I had my wifes schedule wrong, she works tonight and tomorrow at 2 PM is the baby shower, so I need to have him home @ 1 pm. Gives mom some time to get everything ready for it. Then I get some free time durring the shower to get the rows put up in the garden or some time to work on the Bronco, all in all it should be a good day and an ever better weekend with some fishing on sunday.
