Website Maintenance and Upgrades...

Post by webmaster »

The website will be going up and down a bit this week as we do an upgrade, some maintenance and moving to a different hosting partition.

Bear with, we'll get there!

Well that went well.... HAHAHA

Ok, if you find anything not working, please send me an email, make a post or call me.

There are still a few more issues to iron out, but the bulk of the upgrade and conversion is done. Wahoo!!

The forum looks totally different and I can't seem to find any way to change the "look" of it. Is there some options hiding somewhere I can't find or is this it? (The previous version had several "skins" to choose from so I'm just asking.)

Not complaining, just curious. Thanks for the good work you do to keep the forum running!

Our previous 'theme templates' didn't age with the product and were deprecated. I have chosen a new template that closely resembles the last. As I'm able to find others, I'll make them available.

This upgrade is faster... could be the hardware too...

The Spammers (and rather Porny Spammers at that) already have us zeroed in... keep flagging them while I work on stabilizing our defenses...

Might I suggest suspending new registrants until spammer protections can be put in place.

Also, having some kind of system to verify someone is an actual non-spammer person before completing their registration could help. Although it would be more work for the admins I can't imagine getting too many registrants in any given day.

If there is anything else that we (forum members) can do to help you (admins) out please let us know!
