2017 Ridgway Nationals News

Post by cslcAl »

Fellow Competitors,
The Ridgway Rifle Club has been notified of approval of their recently submitted Fostering Grant from The Friends of The NRA. This grant was submitted for all (Sub Junior/ Intermediate Junior and Junior Shooters) in an effort to increase Attendance and to Promote the Future of Silhouette Shooting, this grant will also help lower the expense of Junior Competitor families attending the 2017 Smallbore/Highpower National Silhouette Championships.
On Behalf of The Fiends of The NRA and The Ridgway Rifle Club we are pleased to announce the following:
It Is our hope That ALL !l Junior Competitors competing in the National Silhouette Smallbore and Highpower Championships at the Ridgway Rifle Club will not be charged to compete and receive a FREE ENTRY in both Hunter Rifle and Standard Rifle in both Smallbore and Higpower Rifle Silhouette. If we should happen to receive more Junior Entries than the FNRA Grant covers, all Junior Shooters will receive a very, very steep discount on their entry fees (hopefully, we all agree this would be great news!!) Junior shooters entry fees we have already received will be reimbursed.
Both the Friends of the NRA and The Ridgway Rifle Club hope this grant will provide all the Juniors attending the Nationals with a wonderful and educational experience of the shooting sports. For them all to enjoy the opportunity of experiencing a National Shooting Championship and to compete shoulder to shoulder with some of the best offhand Shooters in the world.
We wish to Thank!! The Friends of The NRA for their support of Junior Shooting Nationwide
Hope to see you all in Ridgway in July
In Shooting,
Ken Haupricht and Fred Kielbowick

Hello Al,

I saw that !

Carolyn and I will be down to lend a hand during the High Power Nationals and then shoot BPCR the weekend after.

The future of our sport is making it enjoyable and available to others who may wish to try it.
