CZ .22 caliber Single Shot Adapter Thoughts
CZ magazine at left. CZ single shot adapter at right. The initial angle of the cartridge in the adapter forces the extractors to spread around the rim of the cartridge. Not good for a couple reasons. I don't think the cartridge chambers exactly the same as from a magazine and it adds unnecessary wear to the extractors.
With the magazine, as the bolt moves forward it pushes the cartridge past a magazine retainer and then the cartridge springs up behind the extractors.
What are your thoughts on single shot adapters being used when zeroing is done with a magazine and on wear and tear of the extractors?

First off, why would you want to shoot in as a single shot?
Second, this isn't 'bench rest', we don't shoot for the smallest groups.

The extractors are steel and the shell casings are brass. You're worried the brass is going to wear down the steel? Not likely.

I should have never sold our CZ's. They are great rifles.

In order to help you with your buyer's remorse I would be happy to trade my CZ 452 Silhouette for your Anschutz.

Acorneau, he is worried the extractors moving over the rim as he chambers a round would cause the extractors to break from the bending, not wearing caused by the brass.
OP, the extractors have a spring that keeps them closed. Single loading bends the spring, not the extractors. You will be fine single loading.

The extractors will be fine. Like others said, don't worry about it.
I have always wanted to get one of the bolt in single shot adapters like the one used in the Walther KK100 (CZ action). It has a loading plate that sits on a spring. This allows the bullet to slide directly into the chamber and the loading plate to move out of the way when the bolt is closed. I really wish they were available to be bought for the 452 and 455 rifles.
