Re: Nationals Registration
Thank you for the update!lijeboy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 12:28 pmIt is strongly suggested that registration be done online only. I just got off the phone with NRA Silhouette Department, and they feel sure it will be up and running by end of the week, next week. We still have more than three months before the matches, so there's lots of time.
Thanks again for your patience. I will update via this forum the minute I hear registration is open.

Re: Nationals Registration
I know we discussed it at the TSRA state match but I keep clicking the link and the message on the page
"Check back for entry into next year's NRA National Championships" makes me wince like I have missed something...
Thanks again for "volunteering" for your current role.

Just sort of curious as to why all the fret and worry and the need to have such a snit over not being able to send your entries in 3 months before the match begins? You know when the match is going to be, you have your vacations scheduled, and the NRA allows for "post" entry..

I am wondering the same thing as Don. You can sign up the morning of the match. There are 10 banks of targets. Nobody has ever been told that the National match was full and they cannot shoot. You would be surprised at the number of Master class shooters who just show up without pre-entering and pay cash. Why the panic to pre-entry asap?

Can't answer for anyone else in this thread and that I've talked to about it but.... I'm anal retentive and prepare for everything. Basically one of those if you are on time, you are late type people and I like things to be put to bed as quickly as possible.DonM wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 6:26 am Just sort of curious as to why all the fret and worry and the need to have such a snit over not being able to send your entries in 3 months before the match begins? If registration was supposed to be open next month I wouldn't sweat it.... it was supposed to be open last month... so in the same vane as not even bothering with grand slams any more I fret "waiting" on the NRA...
FWIW, "post" entry is jacked.

They were pretty much ignored for the last several years and I refuse to attempt to participate any longer... I've grand slammed all the rifles except center fire CLA. It's not big deal.

They have been diligently working to catch up with grand slams. If you have earned a grand slam and not gotten your medal and/or certificate, contact Lois Wenzel at NRA, or myself.
