Post by rogersptl »

David Bonner, Aurora, CO won each of the 4 rifle divisions. SB 63, HP 57, SB-H 62, HP-H 58. Each was a 2 X 40 program. No luck getting photo's to attach.

Yep, Big Mike placed me in the tower to call SB all weekend.

Some words overheard on the firing line right after a competitor shot three ram ringers in a row.......

"That's what you get for shooting a mouse gun."

There was also a pig FTF......(failure to fall)

#-o ...almost forgot. Same rifle and round was used to settle a AA shoot off on rams. Both shooters miss first shots. Little bullet shooter rings his second shot target, bigger bullet shooter hits and wins.

The first State match date on that tall trophy is 1977. Lander has been at this game for a while. 8)
