We’ve lost another
I was informed today that Mike Peters passed away this morning. Mike was allergic to bees stings and he was stung this morning and it was lethal.
Mike was very active in handgun and cowboy Silhouette here in Pa, and was the match director at the New Freedom Club. Mike was just 50 years old.
I was just at a match with him on Sat. I’m really saddened by his passing; way too young and too sudden. My prayers are with his wife and family.

Mike will be missed by many. He was a very good man. I am at a loss for words over his passing so soon. My thoughts are with his family. RIP Mike

I am still trying to wrap my head around this. Like Al said I just saw him and his sly grin Saturday.
I know I only saw Mike twice A month or so....but I considered him a friend. His attitude, dry sense of humor and genuine passion for the game will be sorely missed. When his humor was aimed at me I knew it meant I was welcome at his match and being treated like "one of the family".
Be kind to one another. Life isn't fair, this isn't fair.
RIP Mike
