Possibly bad news for silhouette shooters. I recently purchased 2 new VX3i 6.5x20x40 1" AO with fine duplex reticle. I called the custom shop to inquire about dot sizes. The gentleman I spoke with stated the custom shop is down for restructuring. Asked about dot sizes and he didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling that they are going to continue this service. Stated he couldn't answer either way. I asked if Leupold discontinues this service if a third party installs a dot will it void the warranty? He stated yes it would. So my question here is, is there anybody on this forum in the Leupold loop that can have any input with Leupold to not discontinue this service? This is going to be a great disservice to our discipline if this happens.
