This does not look good for firearm owners in this country.

What does the NRA have to do with firearms owners... at least in the last 20 years.... ask anyone who lives in the state the NRA calls home....

The Board should demand Wayne and the others resign immediately with NO additional compensation or perks. I’m afraid that’s the only way they can save the NRA, this dirty laundry has been known for some time, including several on the board that blocked removing Wayne earlier.

If what LaPierre did is criminal then every politician's guilty as well. I watched the video. The NY state AG is a Soros puppet. She read the "list of crimes" like she was at a drag queen story time at the public library.
The NRA definitely needs to reign him and others in but having a bunch of leftists cook up a bunch of harassment charges just to "take down the NRA" is BS.
When the politicians go after Big Pharma with as much zeal as they do for the NRA I'll give a crap what they think.
Just my .02

Re: NY Sueing the NRA to have them dissolved
It defies logic (sorry, not really the correct word) that the NY AG "announced Thursday that her office has filed a lawsuit against the National Rifle Association and its leadership, including Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre, looking to dissolve the organization."
Other than to be viewed as an act of pure hatred of the NRA, why would anybody choose to dissolve an organisation because of the alleged misdeeds of the Executive of that entity? Insane!
Sure, it's been said for some time that LaPierre has "done rather well for himself", but doesn't that mean that the NRA should be emboldened to rein in and dispense with the services of the miscreants, and not dissolved in its entirety?

Because the corruption is pervasive in the entire upper echelon of the organization, not just Wayne.

We think our state's NRA lobbyist is doing a great job but the NRA assigned her Mississippi and Nevada. What sense did that make for efficient travel?
