wanted Rem 788 trigger mod

Post by rogersptl »

Greetings, Just maybe some one out there has the article on modifying the 788 trigger by drilling & tapping to add over travel and weight adjustments. Within the last year I had it while digging thru my file and now am unable to find it. I'd thought it was in Brownell's 'Kinks' books. Maybe could figure out the locations BUT if already available would be better. Thanks for your time.

Thank you. That looks to be the drawing I have somewhere in my file. Best wishes RJ

I had a gunsmith do this trigger mod on a 540 X which has the same trigger as a 788. It turned into a really nice trigger.
