TENNESSEE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Match Date: Saturday, 16 October 2021
TIMES:
Practice The range will be open for practice (all disciplines) on Friday, 15 October 2021 from 12:00 pm. Until Sunset. Tech-inspection of Rifles available and encouraged on Friday
Match Time: Practice begins Saturday October 16, 2021 at approximately 8:00am. 8-:45am
The Standard Rifle Tournament begins at 9:00 am.
The Hunter Rifle Tournament will begin at approximately 1:00 pm.
Entry Fee: Entry fee is $25 per tournament or $45 if entering both Standard and Hunter. Junior shooters: $0.00-Free
Entry fee includes fees paid to NRA, Current Range capacity is 32 competitors per tournament.

ALL Current NRA Silhouette rules will apply.
ELIGIBILITY: The tournament is open to all.
Your NRA classification card is required. If you do not have a card, YOU MUST BRING PROOF OF YOUR CLASS. (print offs from a club website showing scores from recent matches is proof) Unclassified shooters will compete in the highest class with participant.
Membership in the NRA is not required.
Classification: NRA silhouette classification is used. Three competitors establish a class. If
there are less than 3 competitors in a class they will be moved up to the next class.
Unclassified competitors will compete in the highest available class.
Match schedule and conditions: Each tournament will consist of one-40 round match for
each gun. The course of fire is 10 shots each on chickens at 40 meters, pigs at 60 meters,
turkeys at 77 meters and RAMS at 100 YARDS.
Shoot-offs for ties will be held at the completion of each tournament. Long run attempts will be fired after the completion of the day’s shooting, before presentation of the awards.
Match will be fired in all weather conditions, unless lightning or severe weather is present.
SQUADING: All competitors will be allowed to choose their squading prior to the
tournaments. Please note on the entry form to help the staff out.
NOTE: All shooters must have a spotter/scorer on the line with them; only one per shooter permitted on the firing line. Anyone NOT Shooting or Spotting must clear the line during competition.
Eye & Ear protection on the line is mandatory.
Ammunition causing target damage will be disqualified.
TIES: Will be decided by shoot-offs. Match winner will be (5) shot shoot offs, any other sudden death.
Awards: Tennessee State Champion must be a Tennessee resident. An award will be
presented to the Open Match Winner (who will not receive a class award). An award will be
given for 1st place in each class. A second award will be given if there are six competitors
in a class and additional awards for each additional 3 competitors.
General information: Clubhouse and restroom facilities are available at the range. The firing line is covered. Bring a lawn chair.
Special Instructions: Gates to our facilities are normally closed.
Gates open on Friday at 11:00am to- sunset.

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration appreciated, but required by 10/08/21
Same day registration must be complete by 8:45 am.
Please note the available Firing line capacity could fill before Match day.

We are located about seven miles south of the City of Jackson, and about 4 miles north of the City of Medon, on Riverside Drive, and about 0.3 mile south of Pope Road, west of Highway 18.
Camping is available on club grounds (first come basis) & plenty of primitive camping. RV's welcome but No electric hookups.
