Gunshow report

Post by jnyork »

Off to the Yuma AZ gunshow this morning about 8:45, place opens at 9:00 so was in line a little early, line was about 100 yards long. Got in and saw the wares and got out about 10:35, line was STILL about 100 yards long. Has got to be an attendance record at this little show, I'm told the Fire Marshall had to take control of how many people being let into the hall. Only saw maybe 6 or 8 AR types, from $1400 on up to $2800, one varminter type made up of common parts at $2000, all of them just lying there not being bought. Quite a few nice old lever guns and some schuetzens. Not one round of .22 rimfire to be seen. AR mags at 45-65 each. Some ammo at scandalous prices. Quite a few other firearms, much better show than last time with not so many beanie babies, cheap ninja swords, etc. No beef jerky. Spent $20.00 on entry fee, one raffle ticket and a calander on sale by local gun club.
