Newby, bitten by the bug

Post by doob »

Hi Folks,

Great forum, seems like a great bunch of helpful people. I was bitten in Binghamton at a seminar given by Mike Sporer. Great job Mike!! I had a great time and learned a lot. I have a CZ 452, just need to set up. I would like to get into a PCP rifle for Silhouette and field target. Are their any resonably priced rifles out there that will do both? I am willing to pay what is needed, but would like to keep peace at home also. Is that possible? :? Thanks in advance for your help and hope to see some of you out on the range.

There are several places to get a good air rifle you can also start off with something like a Air Arms TX 200 (Single pump) which will work for both and is a top air rifle. There are several good places to start, look and read up on the different air rifles PCP or pump. Here are a few Straight Shooters http://www.straightshooters.com/index.html ;Airguns of AZ http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/ ; Air Hog http://www.airhog.com/. For the PCP you'll also have to consider the scuba tank in your budget.

Once you go to the dark side (PCP) though you'll never shoot your old pump again

See you at the matches!!
