Why not spend an obscene amount of money and have a custom rifle made?
Just kidding.
My gunsmith has said that Tikka rifles may be some of the best production rifles currently made.

To answer the question, I'm sure most shooters are shooting a custom rifle built off a Remington Model 700 or custom Model 700 clone.
If you'd like advice on which rifle to buy, no doubt go the custom route.
If you want to buy a factory rifle, I'd say no doubt get a Tikka T3X (probably with the Forest stock).

Dustin is giving sound advice as always, A T3 forest is an excellent choice.

As Dustin and Mark said the Tikka Forest is pretty hard to beat for a factory gun.

I am curious to know why CZ rifles are not recommended very often? Is it somehow inferior? I have seen Tikkas at the gun club and the machining is first class. Their owners were extremely happy with the way they shoot as well.
I just wonder why CZ rifles are not very popular among the silhouette crowd.

I have two Howa 1500 barreled action's in 6.5 CM that I got from Brownells and both shoot well under .5 MOA at 200 yards, after doing load workups for them. Pickup a stock I liked and pillar bedded them both. Very happy with both rifles. I wish I could hold better than I do! Way out preform my ability.
