I met Jim at an early Iron Man regional silhouette rifle match in Missoula, MT. He was an interesting guy to talk guns and shooting with, and we kept in touch after he retired from the sport due to back problems. We exchanged many emails and phone calls about accurate rimfire rifles and gopher shooting, both which he really enjoyed in his retirement.
