Premier Reticles Up-date 4/1/06
They have a new anouncement on their front page....
"
Due to changing business models for both Premier Reticles and Leupold & Stevens, our two companies have decided to implement the following changes:
Effective February 18, 2006, Premier will no longer be selling or performing modifications to Leupold products.
Additionally, Leupold will no longer be able to extend product warranty service to any product modified or altered in any way by an aftermarket provider.
However, Leupold and Premier will continue to jointly warranty scopes modified pre-April 1, 2006 consistent with historic protocols.
ALL LEUPOLD SCOPES RECEIVED FOR MODIFICATIONS WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER.
Customers who want modification services performed on their Leupold Scopes must contact the Leupold Custom Shop.
Premier Reticles will continue to repair previously modified scope work performed by us. Please click here for info.

Good new / bad news...
Good news is that we all have a warranty to hang our hat on (Well this addresses the rumors about them not covering our scopes)
Bad news- Was told today that Chris is the only one in their shop that works on the repairs of the boosted scopes.. I sent (2) in for repair on 2/15/06 ... Was told today that hopefully it will only be another 3-4 weeks...
Now in all fairness there has been a ton going on over there as Chris was in Germany training to handle the Schmitt and Bender scopes and with Family passing away and the SHOT show in FEB... ALOT going on... But "hopefully" getting something back in 3 months...LOL.. that's a tad long, what if I actually needed these 2 scopes? Quit shooting for the year? LOL
