Reticle change?

Need some guidance on a Leupold 6.5x20 that has been boosted by Premier Reticles. It has a fine crosshair from Premier and I sent it to Leupold for a reticle change (1/2 moa dot). I called ahead to verify that they could do it on the Premier boosted scope. They said "no problem". I just called to pay for it with a credit card and they advised they would have to restore it to it's original condition then change the reticle. I said "huh"? Anyway, they are returning it to me unmodified. Any suggestions on who can change the reticle to a dot? Thanks!

Try TK Lee, Premier might still do a reticle change if you ask Chris.
