Anyone need an 1808?
There's one for sale on Gunbroker that looks to be a great deal. It's got a Leupold 6.5-20 and 50ft adapter on it, all for $1450 Buy It Now.

I don't really need a smallbore standard rifle, but if it's still there in a couple days I might pick it up just to play with it and sell separately later. I could use the scope.

Hard to tell from the photo but it looks like a boosted scope. Could be an 18x40 Premier. To many things working right now or like you I would pick it up and part it out.

Took a chance....As Paul Freeman said it looks like it will be worth more as parts than as a whole with the scope being what it is and maybe what it looks like....I do have a soft spot for the 1808...but, after the gun arrives and is properly checked out, just a heads up, it will likely be re-listed for sale here and the scope will probably go up too.....I'm in it with enough comfort to let it sit in the safe for as long as it wants to....not making them anymore.

Lot more smiles in an Anschutz 1808 than in Chesapeake Energy stock.....To each his own.

John,
Sure looks like a boosted scope, you did good. I would have done the same think but am in the process of a build and just purchased a couple of others.
Let me know if it turns out to be what I thought.

Initiated foundation tranche at $26.51 on 1/3/11 and will acquire small lots into the future. 28% return in a little over 3 months ain't bad.Trent wrote:You may be holding onto that for a little while.Jim T. wrote:Bought 42 shares of CHK, lets see how we do.

Bob,
Here is my reasoning; my wife got a new house so I get a new gun. No sure but I may not have gotten that great of a deal.
