1710HB"SOLD"
Rifle is now spoken for.
I'm selling my 1710 to fund my silhouette adventures. I had this action in one of my Wooster stocks and it shoots very well. It shot one of the smallest groups shot at 100 meters in Winnsboro through the Lapua machine. It has a scratch in the blueing on the top of the barrel and a rub mark on the underside of the forearm where the previous owner had a bipod attached.

With an action ordered and a stock being made it is. Someone should scoop this up fast though, it's a great lookin gun. Also sounds like a shooter, not that any 54 really isn't but thats another story.

259...you need to blame it on my other son Abrigos, he has the rifle jjp wants....The Phantom. Honestly these boys need to shut up and shoot!! Now as for some other hooks being set, I loaned jjp my Mexican 6.5, and a set of Redding dies to set the hooks before nationals.

Nothing like the smell of burning powder out of a 6.5 to make your day....... regardless of what the Guru says

JJP, post a pic of the target you shot with that gun at Winnstoro through the Lapua targeting machine. This particular rifle turned in a group so good most of us would have to lie to match it.

Re: FS 1710HB
LOL...Tony it is a 6.5 TKS converted to a 6.5X47, with a fine Mexican multicolored green stock. So named beacuse of the source of said firearm and the other one I have is named the Silver Cloud (the first one I shot in a match).

Oh! then I have one of those already. Mine is also a 6.5 Viking (like a TKS) converted to 6.5X47 Lapua with a Mark Pharr stock painted with the Mexican flag colors. Here is a picture of Agustin Sanchez with it.
I hope Jason does not mind us highjacking his thread.

I'm trying to locate the printout. Dad must have stashed it somewhere. I will find it.jneihouse wrote:JJP, post a pic of the target you shot with that gun at Winnstoro through the Lapua targeting machine. This particular rifle turned in a group so good most of us would have to lie to match it.

Don't worry about hijacking. Maybe someone will notice and need a new toy.
