Last Dance Instructions & Guidelines

Post by duckgumbo »

I received a call this morning requesting a squadding change. Rest assured that the deadline for changes to squadding was Wednesday at 5 PM! Therefore, please do NOT tell your friends that have not seen the online squadding sheets to call me and request a change. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!

Secondly, I have received a request that we hold a classification match for an individual on Friday June 1. WE WILL NOT HAVE A CLASSIFICATION MATCH AT ANY TIME DURING THE WEEK OF MAY 27 - JUNE 1 FOR ANY COMPETITOR!!!!!

The only qualification match that will be available for smallbore is May 26 at the warm-up match at Winnsboro Gun Club.
Pat Steiger and Mary Watkins will run qualification matches for AIR RIFLE on Wednesday afternoon May 23.

Regarding tent space reservations, we do NOT reserve any space except for Jerry and myself. After that it is first-come, first-serve. Jerry needs his space to nap during the match as he is planing on shooting DNF and just qualifying for the door prizes! That is why certain people show up on Tuesday before the match - to drink beer and stake out their tent space..Not to mention eating a lot of good food at the range!

Well David, I hope that I will be holding the air rifle qualifying match on May 30th, as the 23rd is a little before I get there. And I don't think Pat will be there before me.

My suggestion to anyone needing smallbore qualifcations, find a match either on the 19th/20th or on 26/27th and shoot them. As a match director having hosted matches for more than 100 shooters years ago, I know and feel the pain of what David, Jerry, Robin and crew are going through. Not changing this late in the game is simply a matter of logistics and time.

See you all soon.

Thanks Mary. Not to mention disrupting practice on Friday and also a possibility of pussing someone off. But really when did that matter!

If someone fires a score that moves them up a class in the first match will that change their classification in the second match? can this situation mess up the agg. score or do you not move up till after the tournament is over? Thanks Greg

If a shooter shoots a score two (2) classes above his classification they will immediately move up to the next classification regardless of what match it is shot in. i.e. Match I they will be reclassified for Match I and the Aggregate and if fired in Match Ii they will remain in the original classification for Match I but be reclassified for Match II and the Aggregate.

I hope this answers your question. That is why we have sandbaggers like any other sport. Sandbagged are the a$$holes of the sport and are the poorest example of sportsmanship. Jerry and I detest them and we know who they are pretty soon after the first match is scored and we then watch them a little more closely. If they sandbag they will cheat! We have disqualified shooters for cheating by calling a Jury! The evidence is overwhelmingly obvious via eye witnesses and score books!

Do you guys supply these sandbags because lately I've been having a lot of trouble shooting standing up. Hell, Baby Huey beat me again today. What's worse, both my scorebooks are bad.

We have lots of bags and you and Chubby can take turns filling them up while wearing the proper attire at the DC. Chunny tells me he is looking and there are plenty of eligible guys out there ready for him

I doubt that, but I told you they would turn on us. We must regroup, discover their weaknesses and go into super attack mode. And truly doesn't have an E in it you goofball. And JP, I"m not sure what the helicopter is, maybe you can perform it for us. Game on, you weasels, you done insulted my boy.
