Accuracy of Ruger .22LR/.,22Mag convertible
I've been thinking of getting a new gun and I really like the single action Rugers. I see a lot of good prices on those with two cylinders, a .22LR and a .22 Mag cylinder.
I know they are different diameter bullets and I wonder how this affects accuracy.
Will a .22 LR be as accurate as a .22 Mag in the same handgun?
Thanks,
Michael

I had one with a 9 inch barrel. It was a 25 yard Rabbit getter with both cylinders. It was not accuratein my hands to shoot smallbore Hunter Pistol.

You can use it, BUT, I feel it would only be good to 50 yards. Good luck shooting turkeys with on. Its a production revolver. If you want a single action 22lr that will outshoot most semi automatics buy yourself a Freedom Arms model 97 or 83 22lr.
