Re: TX200 vs. Pro Sport
According to the specifications on Pyramid Air website the TX200...
1. Is slightly slower (930 vs. 950)
2. Has a longer barrel (13.19" vs. 9.5")
3. Weighs slightly more (9.3lbs vs. 9.03lbs)
4. Has less cocking-effort (29lbs vs. 39.6lbs)
I've never handled a Pro Sport so I don't have any personal experience to share, but good luck with your search.

Re: TX200 vs. Pro Sport
When I purchased mine, I had a choice between the pro and non-pro. I purchased on looks. I think the pro looks better both shoot great both are fun. My opinion purchase both You cannot go wrong either way.

Re: TX200 vs. Pro Sport
Pro Sport will be lighter on the front end. If you don't want a rifle that isn't so muzzle heavy, buy the prosport. If you like muzzle heavy, the TX. Internals are mostly the same.

Re: TX200 vs. Pro Sport
Previous posters are correct about the balance of the rifle. The Tx is barrel heavy and the PorSport is not. They both use the same powerplant and trigger so balance is the real difference along with maybe ease of cocking. I have had 2 TXs and still have a ProSport. TX is better for Field Target and I think the ProSport is better for silo. Both are very good spring air rifles.

Re: TX200 vs. Pro Sport
I installed a vortex 12fp spring in my TX. It is very easy to cocktail and every bit as accurate. Most of the shooters in my club are shooting a TX200.
One of the master class silhouette shooters, has a TX and a Pro Sport. Most of the time, he shoots the TX in the matches.
There is nothing wrong with either one. Good luck on your choice. Ken

Re: TX200 vs. Pro Sport
HI All ,
I have both TX200 and PROSPORT in .177 cal . ...
I like them both , however the cocking on the PROSPORT is a little tougher AND that cocking lever is flimsy ,
be careful on the cocking or the lever can BEND ... very annoying .
I would without question buy an older , used TX200 in .177 caliber for under 600.00 and put a WEAVER T 24x
on top with BKL rings ... A real WINNER !
