Remembering a Friend
Chad's oldest daughter sent me one of his licence plates last week. His Ford travel van was sold recently to a family friend. I had requested a plate to make a memorial plaque to put up on our range. The engraved metal plate arrived on Saturday, the final touch needed to complete it. It is thick solid redwood and should last a long time. It will get mounted this week under the shade canopy where we all were that afternoon. RIP Chad, we miss you.

What the heck, went out and mounted it today. Fired a few shots while there. Kind of cold at 32 and breezy.

Good job, McAlice. I remember one Nationals in Ridgway, there were six of us that went to a restaurant in St. Mary's to grab something to eat. Of the 6, 3 of them are dead. Chad was a good guy.

A very nice tribute. Unfortunately I never met the gentleman but is obvious he is held in high esteem here. A very nice tribute I need.

I didn't know him, but... that's a mighty fine tribute. Good on ya.
