More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Yeah, but it doesn't take up any more room in the gun safe.
You can always buy a bigger safe or better yet a second safe. It is not against the law to do so. :))

Happy wife happy life. Nuff said. No more safes, no bigger safes.
I buy all my guns from t-rex. He's a small arms dealer.

Here you go guys, the 2-stage Timney trigger is for sale on their site. Ordered mine last night, they confirmed over the phone that it will ship today!

I wonder how compatible that trigger will be with the Tikka rimfire coming out.

Gotta like living a few miles from them. They fixed their cz455 trigger for me last year without any issues.

Quick installation and test revealed it set at 1.75 lbs total, feels good. Will do a match later in the month with it and provide a report then.

Think that safety could be flipped for a left handed rifle?

I don't think so. The safety lever is all one piece, you would have to make a new one and then reverse the pins that block the trigger.

I backed out the over travel screw and I get about 1/8 to 3/16 or so over travel now.

I tried out the Tikka 2 stage trigger on the Tac A1 in store a few months back. From what I am remembering, the two are comparable.
