It seems to me that state associations are trying to kill themselves.

State associations think they're protecting their membership with restrictive rules. The Missouri state association says you can't be a state champion unless you're an association member.....so they really think a competitor is going to pay to join AND pay to enter the match with the hope that the host club will get a swell trophy for the winner.

I have been a life member of the ID state association and I never did figure out what they did ogther than collect money for a 'state match'.

the tennessee state assocation is the same way. they collect money and don't know anything about silhouette.
