NRA Support?

Post by ltcnav »

Has anyone had any luck contacting the NRA about their support of the Silhouette program? They seem to no longer carry the "in a row" pins, score cards, etc. Tried to email them, no response.

I received an "Official Silhouette 5-10-15 In-A-Row Pins Order Form" with the paperwork associated with the approval of our authorized matches for 2019. It states, "Some colors are limited, contact silhouette@nrahq.org for inventory availability or call (703) 267-1456.

Send form and payment to: NRA, Silhouette Dept., 11250 Waples Mill Rd., Faifax, VA 22030

The packet included a MEMORANDUM that states, "We are restocking some of the 5,10,15 in-a-row pins for purchase. Attached is an order form. Please contact us directly before sending form & $$ to be sure we have the pins in stock.?

I did, and she did. Reading between the lines, here is what I think has happened. Previously, I ordered all the material I needed directly from the NRA sight, pins, poster, score cards, etc. My matches were "fun" matches, they adhered to all the NRA rules, however they were not "sanctioned, or authorized". It seems that to order these materials now, you have to have a registered/authorized match with the NRA.
Anyway, from the Wenzell response that is what I think has changed.

You can order Silhouette Pins from: http://www.rsent.net/silhouette-pins.html
That's where we get ours for our NRA Tournament and Sanctioned Matches.

I have ordered the rsent pins and they are top quality. I think they look better than the NRA ones. IMO.

I was cleaning out my back room and found a bunch of pins for CB. If anyone would like them let me know I'll send them off. They are in a Plano fishing box to keep them separate.
