Marbles sights
I have a colleague with a Miroku 73 winchester in .357 with a Marbles sight on the tang.
He wants to replace the eyecups with an adjustable eyecup similar to a Hadley or Merit. He does not know what the threading is for the Marbles sight (new vintage). Does anyone here know of the threading and a source for such an eyecup?
Thanks

Re: Marbles sights
the merit for the marbles tang sight is a 10-32 threading. I can not help you with the eye cup.

Re: Marbles sights
The Hadley will not screw in to a Marble post. The Merit will. However, it is my understanding the the Merit #3 Master is no longer being made. That said, I have 3 Merit #3 Masters for sale because I've switched over to MVA & Hadley. $50 each plus postage.

Thanks guys. I passed on the information. I didn't see the listing on Lee's page where he explicitly says it will fit a Marbles. I just saw a list with thread sizes and couldn't connect the dots.
I think he wants a Merit first and foremost, so I passed on your email to him eagleeye42.

Re: Marbles sights
I have the exact setup , a miruko win 73 in 357 cal, and a Marbles improved" " tang with a shaver Hadley eye cup, no issues, every thing went together with no fitting required. I is a good sight set up for me.
