Besides the Red Ryder

Post by Jetmugg »

On a purely technical matter, other than the Red Ryder, what are the most common "springer" sporter air rifles used in competition?

Something like an RWS 48, or something more exotic?

There are also a noticeable number of Beeman/H&W 77's, 97's (underlevers) and R-9's ( breakbarrell ) in evidence at air rifle silhouette and field target shoots. Don't discount those. The 77's and 97's will shoot with the TX's day in and day out.
