You just might be on to something there. My Wife tells me that I am not normal all the time.

A little bump to say I finally got my third AAA score for Hunter today, a 27/40.
\:D/

Unfortunately I still haven't gotten a single AAA score in Standard yet.

Acorneau,
CONGRATS on the AAA rating!
Don't worry about the other rifle - it will come along.

Keep shooting!

Congratulations on AAA! I hope to do it someday.

This place has been kind of quiet lately so I'm bumping this old thread for an update...

Since our silhouette range is still closed due to Harvey I drove out to shoot the match at the Golden Triangle Gun Club in Beaumont yesterday. Managed to get a 29/40 in Standard, tying my previous PR from over a year ago, and finally giving me my first AAA score in Standard. I then followed up with a second 29/40 for Hunter!
\:D/

I guess I need to go out to Golden Triangle's matches more often! :-?

Congrats! It is a lucky range, or maybe it's the people. I got my last leg into Master in Standard rifle there. I was going to go, flat forgot.

I guess it is true that Acorneau is a prodigy among us. This thread outlining his rise to AAA is evidence of his greatness.

We expect great things from you at the 2018 Smallbore Silhouette Natonals. \m/

Prodigy? No, just working hard to make slow improvements. Someone like Dustin making Master within his first year of shooting silhouette, that's more of a prodigy to me.

Yes, I've already decided to do my best to go to Nationals next year. No guarantees of a great performance but I'll keep practicing until then. Hopefully I'll meet you out there David!

I'm trying to make it out there that year myself.

Unless something unexpected happens I will be there at The Whittington Center for next years Small Bore Silhouette Nationals.
