How much would it cost?

This is what we do.

OH JEEZ.....Before my reputation is completly ruined, let me say that my beer consumption is limited to a couple thru the week, after work, at home, and on the weekends. NEVER combined with using machinery or guns. BlauBear hit the mark when he said...."with the tooling and knowhow". Yea, this type of work is routine machining. I've been a machinist for 35 years, started in H.S. metal shop. The main difference between a machinist and a gunsmith is the latter works on guns for a living. Having worked in shops with a full compliment of machine tools, I have the luxury of being able to make, repair and work on all kinds of gun related projects. My earlier reference to the 80 grit grinder would produce about the same crown finish as using the nose of a dull chainsaw. :) .....Innocent..you made it home safely..lets get together next time your in CO. and no, we won't visit that bridge. And Jim..5 more tree rats bit the dust since you left last week.

BOB,
Your reputation could not be ruined, not after this springs escapades with Rambo.....yes I made it home safely, even made it in early but had to wait on the runway for 25 minutes for a gate to clear. BTW you didn't tell me that there was hairly tailed rats to shoot at, sounds like a whole lot more fun than trying to prevent global warming tree huggers from getting us thrown out of the resturant, granted he did recieve some guidance from some of the firearm carrying colleagues.

COST

Post by Evelio Mc Donald »

Mc Alice, GOT YOU, Master machinist for 41 years, when I retired 3 years ago, I had 161 machinist on first shift, and 152 on second shift, and several foremen under my supervision. I have been doing gun work for about 40 years, but only for myself and friends. I started working on other peoples guns after I retired, and the only reason I do it, is to keep myself busy, and also I love to see those chavings flying.
Have a cool one on me.
Mc Donald.

Evelio, tried the supervisor thing when I was at the former nuke plant. 10 years of Steelworkers...never again. Retirement is still 8-10 years down the road. I love flying chips ,too. Except when a hot one finds it's way down your shirt or lands on your tounge. Keep mouth closed when chips fly. .........Innocent....global warming treehuggers..restaurant melee..gun toting foreigners...yellow river..I think I remember hearing something about that on FOX-NEWS last week.......JB, remember all the trouble I got into last spring about using all CAPS ? You better not get into this habit or YOU will be hearing from Jason.
