Thanks Allen!!! We’ve been talking amongst ourselves and we have a really cool game that will be introduced at this year’s Coop Shoot.
It’s called the Outlaw Shootout!!! The basics of it is using the Gamo Running Deer Target system, we’ll put reflective tape on the running deer at probably 20 yards.
Then with the lights out a two man team steps up. One runs the spot light and the other is the shooter.
We will still have a separate pot for those who choose to shoot in the daylight.
The trash talk is already up and running. Winners of this will also be announced on steelchickens.
We’ll see.

From the Louisiana Rifle Silhouette Team on Facebook:
The best (and coldest) Coop Shoot ever is in the books!
Dustin won his 7th straight Coop Shoot championship, firing an aggregate score of 170/180 in the Open Rifle championship. (57/60 Saturday morning, 56/60 Saturday afternoon, and 57/60 Sunday morning). Chris Cawthorne finished second with a score of 149/180 (48/60, 53/60 & 48/60). Louisiana junior superstar Micah Waguespack finished third at 146/180 (54/60, 48/60 & 44/60).
Bruce won the Sporter Rifle championship with a score of 139/180 (45/60, 47/60 & 47/60). Hayley finished second with a score of 128/180 (43/60, 43/60 & 42/60). Wimpy Page finished third at 75/180 (31/60, 20/60 & 24/60).
The highlight of the weekend was the shootoff for the Target Rifle championship between two other Louisiana junior superstars. Reese Burnett and Erin Wilkinson tied for the championship at 131/180. Reese won the five-shot shootoff to win her first-ever regional championship. Reese won from AA class with scores of 44/60, 46/60 & 41/60. Erin forced the shootoff from AAA class with scores of 40/60, 41/60 & 50/60. Dewey Stewart represented the Master Class on the podium, finishing third with a score of 127/180 (38/60, 45/60 & 44/60).
Several national records were set this weekend. In addition to several others, Dustin set the Open Air Rifle long-run Ram record with 50 straight rams; and Hayley set the Sporter Air Rifle long-run Chicken record with 18 chickens.
As always, the Coop Shoot was a great kickoff to the 2022 shooting season. The team will next be in action on March 19-20, hosting the Shamrock Silhouette Shootout at Bayou Airgun Club. Hope to see you there!

Danny, Bruce Finley, Robert Baker, and Bob Davis put in an inordinate amount of work getting that building ready. It being ready to this level was nothing short of miraculous. It may have been the coldest one we've had yet, but it sure was nice to have one at all much less "better"!

My spotter misses a few calls, but he's always loud enough to hear! (Sorry about his volume. I'll have a muzzle by next year.)

Love the picture Garrin. Although it was cold, had a great time as always. Congrats to Dustin, Bruce and Reese on winning their rifle classification. I’ll definitely be there next year.
