BB, my first chickens were all named after royalty...Ethel Red the Unready, Eggbert, Charlie, Big Beth, Little Beth, George (the only black hen) and so on. All the schnauzers were named after German admiralty....The turtles named after the nearest twon to their capture (usually somewhere in Georgia on a raod trip). Now my rifles are another story!

I went in the same direction mary when I named my new puppy...Irwin von Rommel. I think a good name for a German shepard. But I usally call him coconut head beacause he has a head as big as one if not bigger.

Lots of shepherd owners in this game! Victor has grown into his 90+ pounds (at 8 months) so it's no big thing to us, and we know he's a pussy cat, but everyone else gets the strangest look on their face when they meet him.

Shepards are great loyal dogs, I have 2 as well as a KNPV malinois...most visitors just stay away.

We aren't whingeing Poms, we're hardy Colonials. A bit more 'couth' than our Aussie mates accross the ditch, and we don't talk funny like them know-it-all Safricaners.
